i had an idea: a broken-hearted, broken-bodied rodeo clown so i called cara. we shot it a year later, and these were my two favorite shots that came from it. maybe it should be a series?

Shrimp Tails in the Grass
“You smell like shrimp tails”
	and then went back to eating 
In the grass with apple seeds 
Sitting next to her high neck lines
		cords lining her thick rosacea 
“I like it, I think”
	I slip a seed under my tongue 
	until it falls
		behind my throat. The sharp corner
		edging the folds of my tonsils
*sniffle* 
I hate fish. And shrimp. But apples next to her, seeds and all will be
My end to every summer day.

Maybe it’s the house i’m in. or the music i’m listening to. but decided to start posting on a blog instead of instagram.
